1. Drievriendenstraat / “Three Friends” Street Marker
Inscription.  
De Drievriendenstraat is vernoemd naar drie vrienden, één ervan was de hoofdinspecteur van het bouwen, Adrianus Thomas van den Boom (1830-1893). Hij was in verband met de annexatie van Delfshaven in 1886 tot hoofdinspecteur van dat gebied benoemd. Over zijn twee andere vrienden is verder niets bekend.

(English translation:)
The Drievriendenstraat is named after three friends, one of whom was the chief inspector of construction, Adrianus Thomas van den Boom (1830-1893). He was appointed chief inspector of this area in connection with the annexation of Delfshaven in 1886. Nothing further is known about his two other friends.
