Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Medical & Science Officer, Romark Laboratories L.C.; US Affiliate Professor of Medicine whose breakthroughs in treatments of parasitic diseases led to his discovery of thiazolides, a new class of antiparasitic agents, later discovered as a new class of broad spectrum antiviral drugs effective against novel infectious diseases.
