Florida Atlantic University professor who developed high-definition digital imaging technology for NASA and many innovations in the "fields of high-resolution imaging technology, electronic and optical physics, and electrical engineering, and one of just 50 prolific commercially-viable U.S. inventors whose number of patents were exceeded only by those issued to Thomas Edison.
