WasteShark
This equipment has been deployed here at the Sam Houston Landing, thanks to a Port Houston Internship Program project in 2019, to capture the debris and litter that collects here due to runoff after rains. This litter comes from all over Houston as people toss garbage into streets, bayous, or drains. "Floatables" is the actual pollution term for the trash that winds up in waterways.
