Inscription.
Donna Randall "Randi" Reid. Randi Reid, editor and founder of the Observer, has been writing the stories of Prince William County and its residents since 1986. She stated out as a neighborhood columnist for The Journal Messenger and advanced to full-time reporter, then editor and editorial writer. She expanded Lake Ridge's first community paper, the Lake Ridge Lantern, into the Old Bridge Observer, Bull Run Observer, Manassas Observer, and a website, www.bullrunnow.com. She has consistently and tirelessly worked as reporter, editor, interviewer, and photographer, often times combining family errands with a story assignment. Her dedication to fair stories about our government, schools, volunteer organizations, places of worship, and individual achievements has won numerous awards. Generations of residents have come to life inside the pages of the Observer, our hometown paper, and its circulation has delivered a sense of neighborhood to every community in our vast county. Under her leadership as founder and President of Santa's Old Bridge Parade and the Prince William County Farm Tour, these events have delighted children of all ages and furthered our sense of community.
