Inscription. This memorial recognizes the instrumental role. Mayor Robert Bridge played in the development of the public park areas along round lake, during his term as Charlevoix’s mayor from 1938-1948. Mayor Bridge’s visionary approach led to the creation of East Park and the Robert Bridge Memorial Park.

The city sincerely thanks Mayor Bridge for his tireless efforts in creating these remarkable public waterfront parks that will be enjoyed by Charlevoix’s citizens and visitors for generations to come!
