Inscription.
Roberto Almoar batted .312 in his three seasons with the Orioles, 1996-98, highest career average among qualified players with the club. Earned three All-Star appearances, two Gold Gloves and a Silver Slugger Award and at second base in that time. Helped Orioles to two playoff appearances, 1996-97, and was All-Star Game MVP in 1998. Led team with a .328 batting average in '96, as well as hits, doubles and OBP. Ranks 8th in club history in career OBP and 9th in slugging. Batted .300 over a 17-year career and is one of nine players with at least 200 homers and 400 stolen bases. Was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011 with the 3rd highest vote total ever.
