Inscription.
A steady second baseman in 13 seasons with the Orioles, Brian Roberts was a two-time A.L. All-Star and Most Valuable Oriole. Twice led the A.L. in doubles, setting an MLB record with 56 doubles by a switch-hitter in 2009. Led league in steals once and was in top 10 six times. Is second all-time in club history in both steals and stolen base percentage and also ranks among top 10 in runs, hits, doubles, triples, extra base hits and walks. Posted three seasons with at least 25 steals, 50 doubles, 70 walks and 100 runs scored, a feat accomplished only four other times in MLB history. Active supporter of community children's health initiatives both during and after his playing career.
