The first Nicaraguan to play in the majors, Dennis Martinez won 108 games for the Orioles from 1976-1986. He tied for the American League lead with 14 wins in 1981 and led the A.L. with 39 starts and 18 complete games in 1979. He ranked 8th in wins at the time of his induction to the Orioles Hall of Fame. After leaving the Orioles, he went on to become the all-time winningest Latin pitcher in Major League history with 245 wins, including a perfect game for Montreal in 1991.
