Farragut Memorial Park
Site of the first Baptist Meeting House, built 1815.
Building torn down in 1907. Through the efforts of Maj. H.A. Shorey and others, over a period of many years the land was deeded, in trust to Farragut Post 27 G.A.R. for a Memorial Park in 1908.
The park was deeded to Farragut Memorial Association in 1928.
