Inscription.
Luis Aparicio, one of the greatest shortstops in the history of the game, helped lead the Orioles to their first pennant in 1966. Two years earlier he set the club standard for stolen bases with 57. During his five years in Baltimore, he twice led the league in steals, earned two Gold Gloves and played on two A.L. All-Star teams.
