1. Charleen & Charles Hinson Amphitheater Marker

Inscription. An outdoor performance venue had long been part of the vision for New Albany, but it became a reality when the Hinson family made a legacy gift toward its design and construction. The community followed the family's lead, raising the remaining funds required to build this beautiful performance space.

The Charleen & Charles Hinson Amphitheater is a signature component of the New Albany cultural arts district, with its proximity to the McCoy Center creating collaborative programming opportunities.

The amphitheater is an inspiring environment for performers and patrons alike as it hosts local, regional and national performing arts groups. It is also an important component of arts programming for New Albany Schools.
