1. The Hen House Marker
Inscription. The Hen House contained three bays on each side to contain living space for the families' chickens. The door was used by the family to enter and exit while gathering the eggs. Chickens provided several sources of food while this building was still in use. The family would use the eggs in baking and for eating and on very special occasions, they would use the chicken to serve in the celebration.
