Built as a villa around 1845, by the Englishman F.A. Rising. 1852 extension farm. 1854 owned by G.N. Rutten from Maastricht. 1875-1920 convent of the Ursuline sisters, from Ahrweiler, Germany. 1876 extension. 1879 construction of chapel. Renovations in 1882, 1892, 1902. In 1920, Fathers of the Sacred Heart. Chapel and part of the buildings demolished in 1974.
