Dedicated to Veterans - Past and Present
The Veterans’ Memorial Park in the Villages was designed to pay tribute to the many men and women who have served their country and provided us with the most precious gift of all - freedom.
In true community spirit, an eleven member committee comprised of Veteran civic groups and organizations worked in conjunction with The Villages and The Villages Foundation to make the Veterans’ Memorial Park not to just dream, but a reality.
This park shall serve as a reminder for the sacrifice of those who served to ensure our freedom of speech, trial, education, representation, travel, talent - even our destiny. Their sacrifices and dedication to their fellow man country have given us the freedom we enjoy today. Let us never forget them, nor let future generations forget.
