1787 – Northwest Territory is created under the Northwest Ordinance
1803 – Ohio joins the union as the 17th state
1868 – First engine powered tractors (using steam) are introduced.
1870 – The Ohio General Assembly charters the Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College (now the Ohio State University).
Late 1800s – Threshing machines are widely available.
Early 1900s – Machines begin to replace horses.
March 20, 1918 – Upper Arlington is incorporated as a village.
February 8, 1941 – Upper Arlington becomes a city.

Around 1838 – Thomas Legg constructs barn at Reed and Fishinger Roads.
1925 – Barn built by PJ McCoy burns down.
1928 – Clarence Davidson (McCoy's son-in-law) moves and reconstructs Legg barn on Lane Road.
June 24, 1939 – Anna Marie Davidson (Clarence and Nellie McCoy Davidson's daughter) marries James Drake.
1928-1964 – Barn houses cattle, stores hay and eggs are sold from it.
1964 – Annexation of property into Upper Arlington. Livestock no longer permitted on original McCoy family farm.
May 12, 2007 – Anna Marie Davidson Drake dies. She is the last family member

October 5, 2007 – UA Historical Society introduces project to interested parties.
December 2007 – UA Community Foundation begins receiving donations.
March 2008 – Barn is dismantled, tagged and stored.
July 26, 2010 – Ground breaking is held at Sunny 95 Park for the future Amelita Mirolo Barn.
September 17-25, 2010 – Timber Framers Guild and Friends of Ohio Barns build timber frame and restore Legg barn, merging new with the old into the Amelita Mirolo Barn.
September 26, 2010 – Legg Barn Raising!
May 21, 2011 – Official opening of the Amelita Mirolo Barn.
