More about this marker. The plaque is at the foot of a statue of Thomas, showing him holding his bat up after making a swing.
 
Regarding Frank Thomas. Frank Thomas was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014, after a career in which he emerged as one of the greatest right-handed hitters in baseball history. Although Thomas did receive a ring for being part of the White Sox's 2005 World Championship team, he played only 34 games that season, and he missed the entire playoffs due to a broken foot.
