-Et de toutes les victimes d'attentat
Que cet endroit soit un peu à ton image:
Un lieu de mémoire et de rencontre pour la jeunesse.
Un lieu de repos pour le passant,
Un instant à l'écoute de la nature.
Et pour tous, un moment de paix et de sérénité
D'où surgirait parfois ton rire «éclat de joie»
Qui nous signifierait qu'envers et contre tout.
La vie continue...

In memory of Salomé Girard, aged 18,
Who died in the wake of the Marrakesh bomb attack of 28 April 2011,
And of all the victims of such attacks.
May this spot be in the image of you:
A place of remembrance where young people can meet,
A place where the passer-by can rest,
A place where one can spend a moment listening to nature.
And for all, a moment of peace and serenity
Where we may sometimes even hear your laugh, "bursting with joy",
Telling us that in spite of everything.
