Inscription. In 1895, John C. Clemens began delivering fresh products on his horse drawn wagon from his farm near Hatfield, Pennsylvania to the Farmer's Market in Philadelphia. From that humble beginning, his family and friends worked hard to build Hatfield Quality Meats to what it is today: the freshest, best-tasting and most trusted brand of meats in the marketplace. The Hatfield tradition of quality has been satisfying Phillies fans since 1971.
