1. Admiralty Pattern Anchor Marker
Inscription.
In common use between the late 1800's and the 1960's,
this ketch-type anchor was found in Lake Ontario and
presented to the Forwarder Museum by the Prescott Base
of the Canadian Coast Guard.

Admiralty Pattern Anchor

This ketch-type anchor, found in Lake Ontario, was in common use
from the late 1800s through the 1960s. As seen on the original
dedication plaque preserved here, this anchor was presented by the
Canadian Coast Guard to the Forwarders' Museum on Water Street,
where it was a familiar sight for many years.
