Jesse Owens Park, County of Los Angeles, dedicated to the memory of Jesse Owens, 1913 - 1980.

Jesse Owens, renowned as one of the world's finest amateur athletes, won four gold medals in track and field at the 1936 Olympic Games. His remarkable athletic achievements and lifelong devotion to youth activities are an inspiration to people everywhere.
