A stage for relativity (in translation): There is one building, no longer extant, however, in which it can be said that history was written. It was on September 23, 1920, a Thursday. On that day at 9 a.m. a scholarly debate began in Bathhouse 8 that went down in history, and not just in the natural sciences: Albert Einstein entered the hall and defended his Theory of Relativity for the first time. You may have parked your car earlier where this historic Bathhouse 8 once stood, if you came by car.(Submitted on June 24, 2024.)

Excerpt (in translation): The famous physicist and Nobel Prize winner came to Bad Nauheim for the 86th meeting of the Society of German Natural Scientists and Physicians, which took place from September 19 to 25, 1920.(Submitted on June 24, 2024.)
Over 2,600 participants traveled to this congress, where over 300 lectures on all areas of medicine and natural science were held in all available rooms in the city.
Einstein's Theory of Relativity had come under criticism from some scientists. Nobel Prize winner Philipp Lenard also shared this critical stance. On September 23, a memorable discussion took place between Einstein and Lenard in Badehaus 8, in which the scientists presented and defended their different points of view.
Albert Einstein received the Nobel Prize a year later.
