With spacious showrooms along Washington Avenue and the Great Northern railroad tracks along the lower level, this building was in a prime location to showcase and ship out farm supplies that were in high demand during the westward expansion.
The diamond emblems you see around the exterior were part of the logo of Dean & Company, the farm implement distributor that built this warehouse in 1902.
The Northern Rock Island Plow Company began sharing space here in 1910 and built this into one of the company's busiest regional branches.
