يوجه الماء الذي يجمع في الحوض الثماني الأضلاع ا الموجود وراءكم [a] بالأنابيب الخاصة إلى موزعي ال ماء اللذين نراهما هنا .[b] يتعلق الأمر، هنا بعناصر تعود إلى حوالي مائة وخمسين سنة، في حين أن مستو ى الحديقة كان يوجد على حوالي 80 سنتمر أسفل الم - ستوى الحالي والموزعان يحملان الماء إلى الأرضية الشمالية والجنوبية حيث يتم سقي الحديقة بفضل اختلاف المستوى و الأخاديد المهيأة في الأرض
L'eau qui s'accumule dans la cuve octogonale derrière vous [a] est dirigée, par les conduits caractéristiques, vers les deux distributeurs d'eau, qu'on peut- voir ici [b]. Il s'agit d'éléments remontant peut-être à plus de cent cinquante ans, alors que le niveau du jardin se trouvait a environ quatre-vingts centimètres au-dessous du niveau actuel. Les deux distributeurs transféraient l'eau aux parterres nord et sud, l'irrigation du jardin se faisant grâce aux dénivellations et aux sillons aménagés dans le terrain.
The water pooled in the octagonal basin behind you [a] is made to flow through the typical piping into the two, water distributers, which are visible here [b]. This involves elements that date back to perhaps more than one hundred and fifty years ago, when the level of the garden was about eighty centimetres lower than it is today. The two distributors conveyed the water to the northern and southern flowerbeds, irrigated then by means of gradients and furrows in the ground.
