English
The water, coming from the point 0, climbs up from the bottom of the well through the terra-cotta piping. Flowing out along the upper edge of the wall, it flows into three pipes. Pipe 1 provides water to the octagonal vase fountain [a]; pipe 2 feeds the irrigation channel (sιguia) at the garden hedge [b]; pipe 3 conveys the water to the square pool (currently in the entry hall): from there water is distributed to the other irrigation channel at the garden's hedge and, through the central rill, to the octagonal vase fountain [c].
