English
The water coming from point 1B flows, thanks to the principle of communicating vessels, into the basin [a] as well as into the small channel on the edge of the basin [b]. Through this channel and, thereafter, the underground pipe, the water reaches the main fountain in the centre of the garden (khossa) [c]. Even rainwater collected from the roof of the nearby pavilion (which originally had a horizontal pitch on the back like the one on the front) is recovered [d] and flows into the pipe that leads to the main fountain. Near the bottom of the basin, an intake controlled by a bulkhead [e] guaranteed, in the event of interruption of the inflow water from the outside, the resupply of the channel [f] used for irrigating the garden.
