The Moving Wall
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The City of Burbank was proud and privileged to host the Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial at McCambridge Park from February 16 to February 22, 1998 under the leadership of Mayor Bob Kramer, a Vietnam Veteran.
This monument marks the actual site where the Moving Wall was located during its visit to Burbank and where thousands of visitors came to honor and remember the 58,202 Americans who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
This monument was dedicated on Veterans Day, 1998 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Burbank's Vietnam War Memorial and Korean War Memorial.
May that silent wall shout out for peace as we all should now and forever. For while most walls keep people apart, its the wall that brought us together. - Anonymous
