1. Owen & Kate Heaton House Marker
Judge Heaton and his wife lived in this Queen Anne-Free Classic home until 1901. In 1912 he ran for Congress on the Bull Moose ticket. The home was later owned by prominent local attorney William Shambaugh who served several terms in the State House of Representatives and twelve years as Fort Wayne City Attorney. He also ran for mayor in 1894.
