1. The Triple Underpass Marker

Inscription. The final leg of the presidential motorcade was to pass through the triple underpass en route to Dallas Trade Mart for a lunch speech north of downtown. Instead, the presidential limousine rushed to Parkland Hospital, less than 2 miles from here. Railroad employees, cleared by a supervisor and watched by police, witnessed the assassination and resulting chaos from the overpass.
