1. Jefferson Highway Tourist Camp Marker
The Natchitoches Tourist Park and Campground, situated west of what was the Normal College, was established in 1922 on the Jefferson Highway. One of the largest campgrounds on the highway, campsites were free for up to seven nights, while the tourist courts featured running water for a nominal fee.
