Evans, who selflessly served as legal counsel from 1972 to 1982 to establish the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District. John's knowledge of trees and his willingness to share is the inspiration for the Evans Arboretum., The trees growing in the historic loop of the Evans Arboretum are authentic, direct-descendents of historic and famous trees!
