1. Boots Court, Carthage, Missouri Marker

Inscription. Arthur Boots built this Streamline Moderne style motor court in 1939, featuring a “Radio in Every Room,” at the intersection of Route 66 and the Jefferson Highway, known as the “Crossroads of America.” The motel was expanded in 1946 and restored in 2022.
