What is this barn by the mill?

Built in 1923, this barn's original use was for drying tobacco. In 1978, when Terry and Julie Clark bought the mill and property, they renovated this barn into their home. In 1991 they had a daughter. The Clark's still live and work out of this barn. Julie has her pottery studio on the ground floor alongside Terry's workshop. The center of this barn is called the breezeway and the old road used to go through barn. They reside on the top floors of the barn. Occasionally they open their home for tours, otherwise it is private property. Even though. The Clark Family no longer owns Bear's Mill they actively volunteer and donate to the mill.

"You work on your house your whole life and then you die. So if you don't finish something, you'll live a long time." -Terry Clark, miller
