First Baptist Church Of Morristown
Founded in 1752. It is one of the oldest churches in the state. Its first pastor was John Gano. Later personal chaplain to George Washington. Built in the Romanesque Revival style. This is the church's fourth edifice, dating from 1892. In 2000, a fire destroyed the interior, since restored faithfully.
