1. 16-18 West Main Street Marker
Inscription. Based on the 2 ½ story design of the front faηade of this all brick home, it may have been constructed as early as 1840, although records are unclear until 1873 when A. Bowlus purchased the property that year. The ground has been used for commercial purposes including medical and dental offices and for a short time, the town's post office. The last medical practice ended in 1976 upon the death of Dr. J. Elmer Harp.
