1. Union Soldiers Passed Marker
Inscription.
Two divisions of Union soldiers, including regiments from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, and Ohio passed here on November 24, 1863, on their way to reinforce others already engaged with Confederates on Lookout Mountain.

It can be reached from Garden Road one mile south of Old Wauhatchie Pike, on the right when traveling south. To locate the marker, follow along the gravel loop trail extending from Reflection Riding's Welcome Center. If traveling east from the Welcome Center along the trail, you will reach the marker on the right side of the trail in approximately 500 feet. Touch for map.
