On behalf of a grateful nation, the citizens of Roscommon County hereby re-dedicate this monument to the memory, sacrifice and dedication of these men and women of our County who honorably and faithfully served in the United States military from 1913 to 2013.

Marking the 100th anniversary of WWI, the “war to end all wars,” on Sunday, 11 November 2018, at 1100 hours, in a solemn ceremony, local veterans organizations and citizens of Roscommon County Courthouse. This ceremony was held to humbly remember, honor and dignify the sacrifice of our nation’s service men and women and the families who served during WWI.
 
Erected by the County of Roscommon. Refurbished and rededicated by the citizens of Roscommon County, Michigan this day of 11 September 2013. Plaque on north side paid for by local veterans organizations and citizens
