Ipswich in Essex County, Massachusetts — The American Northeast (New England)
Sawmill Point
For three centuries, Sawmill Point was the site of gristmills, fueling mills, and sawmills powered by the Lower Falls of the Ipswich River. Through the foresight of Alice Shurcliff, this park now stands as a window to the river and to the history of Ipswich.
