A four-time World Champion, five-time All-Star, and four-time Gold Glove Award winner, Williams retired as baseball's all-time leader with 80 postseason RBI.

His 1996 ALCS MVP performance against Baltimore propelled the Yankees to their first Fall Classic in 15 years.

During the Yankees' 114-win season in 1998, Williams hit .339 to become the first Major Leaguer to win a batting title, Gold Glove Award, and World Series ring in the same year.

A lifetime Yankee, he finished his career with 287 home runs, 1,257 RBI, 2,336 hits, 449 doubles, and 1,069 walks in 2,076 games—among the franchise's top seven in each category at the time of induction.
