Reginald Nero. Mr. Nero arrived here in the decade of the 70's. During this time Mr. Nero Organized<--sic--> and ran competitive sports, and so much more, for the Youth of Ebbets Field/Crown Heights Community. Through his hard work and noble efforts the city of New York and this community are forever changed by Mr. Nero, who engaged our youth in the following activities which helped to give them a positive direction. In this Park, Reginald A. Nero organized tournaments in the following activities:....., . Handball . Body Building . Paddleball . Double Dutch . Track and Field . Boxing . Mens, Ladies, Pee Wee Basketball . Skelly ., Movie Night in the Park... Tutoring, Mentoring and referrals through his creation of the Crown Heights Co-Ed Institute, And he did all of this on his own.
