Mr. Nero arrived here in the decade of the 70's. During this time Mr. Nero Organized<--sic--> & ran competitive sports, & so much more, for the Youth of Ebbets Field/Crown Heights Community. Through his hard work & noble efforts the city of New York and this community are forever changed by Mr. Nero, who engaged our youth in the following activities which helped to give them a positive direction. In this Park, Reginald A. Nero organized tournaments in the following activities:.....

• Handball • Body Building • Paddleball • Double Dutch • Track & Field • Boxing • Mens, Ladies, Pee Wee Basketball • Skelly •

Movie Night in the Park... Tutoring, Mentoring & referrals through his creation of the Crown Heights Co-Ed Institute
