1. Convair F-102 Delta Dagger Marker

Inscription.

First flown in 1953, the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger was designed as a high-altitude, high-speed interceptor for use against Soviet Union bombers entering production at the time.

The F-102A on display is painted with the markings of the 317th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, which served as the only fighter interceptor squadron in Alaska from 1957 to 1969.
