1. Lockheed T-33 Tee Bird Marker

Inscription.

The Lockheed T-33 Tee Bird was developed as a trainer version of the F-80 Shooting Star. It saw extensive service as a trainer and as a combat support and radar target evaluation aircraft. The Tee Bird was the longest-serving military aircraft in Alaska.

The T-33A on display was assigned to the Alaskan Air Command at Elmendorf and is painted in the air defense markings of the 1970s. The 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing also flew the T-33 from 1974 to 1987 at Clark AB, Philippines.
