1. McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle Marker

Inscription.

Designed as an air-superiority fighter, the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle first flew in 1972 and entered operational service in 1974. The F-15 has become the longest-serving fighter in aviation history and has seen extensive combat action.

First assigned to Alaska in 1982, the F-15A on display is painted with the markings of the 3rd Wing flagship.
