More about this marker. This interpretive panel is illustrated with five photographs from the Roy Cole collection. Two are labeled 1900s and the others are labeled 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s.

The first “1900s” photograph is captioned “Main Street, Mackinaw City, Mich.” while the second is captioned “In the photo below, taken from the location of the clock looking west, you can see a building with three windows upstairs. That building still stands as the Keyhole Bar.”

The “1950s” is a color photograph and it is captioned “Most of these buildings still stand although the uses have changed.”
