1. Jefferson Barracks Historic Site - Parade Ground Marker
Inscription. Left side:
• The train depot constructed in 1902 and was located northeast of this location and operated until 1970 when passenger service was discontinued. The Missouri Pacific Railroad tore the station down in 1987. During the first half of the 1940sthousands of servicemen passed through this station.
• The Spanish Naval Gun from the Spanish-American War era still stands on the Missouri National Guard base behind the Administration Building overlooking the Mississippi River.

• Circa 1912 “Officers Row” on the north side of the Parade Ground.

Right side
• This picture taken in the 1940s of the Post Theater now St. Bernadette's Catholic Church.
• The Post Exchange and Gymnasium, now the Missouri Civil War Museum, was built in 1905. During World War II it played host to hundreds of athletic activities on the Post.
• Trolley Station, Post Exchange and Gymnasium (Missouri Civil War Museum) and Post Office.
• This location is at the intersection of Gregg and Hancock Roads. The large building housed nurses who worked in the Post Hospital during World War II. Beyond this building is the Post Office, no longer standing.
• Jefferson Barracks trolley circa 1902.
