1. The 9/11 Memorial Marker

Inscription.
For the next seventy-seven minutes, America and the world held their breath in shock and terror as the most deadly foreign attack on American soil unfolded in front of our eyes. After the initial attacks, the North and South Towers collapsed only one hundred and two minutes after that first flights struck the first tower. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost that day.

This 9/11 Memorial in the City of Madeira Beach is the product of the collaborative efforts between the City, the 9/11 Memorial Ad Hoc Committee, and two recently graduated USF architectural students.

This Memorial was honored with a true artifact from the aftermath destruction of the World Trade Center. Through cooperation and dedication, this memorial will help remind all who visit to “Never Forget"
"We Must Never Forget."
