1. Enoch City Cemetery Marker

Inscription. This land was originally owned by Sylvester Jones who donated a portion to the LDS Church for a cemetery. When Sylvester's son, Henry, died in World War I in 1918, the church asked Sylvester to pay $50 for a plot. He thought that was unfair and buried him just north on his own property. In the future, others followed suit. Later, both properties were donated to Enoch City for the existing cemetery.
