Inscription.
A: No! When the Lighthouse was completed in 1874, trees were shorter and there were barns outside the brick wall. People didn't start building homes on the island until several years later. The Maritime Hammock Trail around the Lighthouse is how much of the island would look today if it remained unaltered.
