Inscription.
Steve Beshenich is a graduate of Langley High School (1968). He attended Community College of Allegheny County to study Criminology and graduated from Alliance College of Pennsylvania.

Steve worked as a Corrections Officer at Graterford Prison.

He cared for his community where he was a member of the West End/Elliott Citizens Council for ten years. In that capacity, he helped youth and started a Crime Watch Program. He was also a member of Pittsburgh Neighborhood Alliance.

For decades, Steve used his own funds and spent time to help homeless Veterans in Downtown Pittsburgh. He was also active helping Veterans at the Pittsburgh Vet Center where he received a Certificate of Recognition in May 2016.

Steve lived with and took care of his mother while she was alive.

Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam in 1969-1970. His Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was a 0331, which is code for a Machine Gunner.

He fought in numerous operations during his tour of duty.
