1. Steamer Nenana Accommodations Marker
Inscription.

The Nenana built accommodations for 52 passengers but was never licensed to carry more than 16 by the Steamboat Inspection Service. During World War II Federal officials and military were not considered "Passengers for hire." The Nenana would carry more people on board during the war years.
